Heath Ledger, the co-star of the Oscar-winning movie 'Brokeback Mountain' was found dead in a New York City residence today at 3:26 PM.They don't know the exact cause of death right now...but of course there are rumors flying around that it might be drug related. He was found face down on the floor and they did find some pills near his body. They do not suspect foul play at this time either. He was found by the housekeeper and masseuse who were there for an appointment.
There are also reports that the owner of the residence is Mary-Kate Olsen. How strange.
I'm not sure if his death will impact the filming of the Batman sequel as Heath was picked to play the Joker. If filming has wrapped...it just might impact any re-shoots or voice over work.
Heath was 28.
