GREAT site for remix and dance music.

I'm hoping that you've heard of masterbeat.com by now. If not...get with the program! One of our local gay magazines here in South Florida had a feature article on them and I paid the site a visit. GREAT site! They have some killer mixes and dance music, tons more than other online downloadable stores. Aren't you tired of taking a chance on those P2P sites too. I will gladly pay for a clean, high bitrate real song. Give them a try and trick your iPod out. Click on the button below for more information and be transported.

Some great music...

Ok...I know that Kylie Minogue is a must like for us gays. But her new CD titled 'X' is GREAT. It's been out in the UK for months and we finally get to buy it here. It's a hot dance CD and can stand up to the classic 'Fever' from 2002. I actually think it's better then 'Fever' too. It's got an 'electronic' feel without feeling too 'British'. The 2 videos are hot too. Vibrent, fun and hot. It's the kind of CD that Madonna and Janet wish they could put together. Lets hope that the US market warms to her once again.

Check out the hot video "In My Arms" below:

You can find it on iTunes, Amazon and in stores. Lets show her some love this week!

Eric Himan...great music artist...oh, and he's pretty cute!

I was listening to a favorite podcast of mine and their special guest was Eric Himan, a singer song-writer. Not only is he pretty cute and has a great voice...he just happens to be gay. He sang live on the podcast and played the guitar. He was great and the lyrics to his songs really have a strong impact you give a listen. While he's not a South Floridian, I just wanted to put the spotlight on him and let everyone know to check him out on iTunes. Click the hyperlink to get more info on this great artist. He's working on a new CD that should be out very soon. (the 2 new songs he played from the CD are great).

Britney Spears Blackout...No, it's really her CD's new title.

What kind of gay blog would this be without at least one Brit posting? This posting isn't going to dish on what paparazzi she ran over, chased or whatever. It won't even talk about her ongoing child custody issues...and don't even think it will talk about any recent 'train wreck' live performances.

Britney's new CD titled Blackout (catchy title huh? Maybe it should have been called '7AM and Still Drunk') dropped today. It was rushed ahead of schedule due to 'Internet leaks'. This actually could be true because the whole CD (and even some tracks that didn't make the final cut) could be found on many 'pier-to-pier' services for a few weeks now. (This blog does not support that type of downloading service.)

When you put all of her real life drama aside...this CD is actually really good. It could even be one of her best. There are some familiar sounds (think Gwen mixed with a bit of Madonna) but it's a great way to try to bust into the scene again. There are a few songs that get you hooked right away, even through the electronic blips and bleeps. This CD has a song for everyone, but I bet she had her gay fans in mind when she picked the songs. They get you to picture lots of hot guys shirtless dancing until 5 AM, which is nothing new to Ms. Spears.

Some of the other songs that didn't make it? Well lets just say they made some wise choices. There is one good song that is only available on iTunes called 'Get Back'. The song was stuck in my head for weeks when I first heard it. I even snipped a bit for a ring tone. (oh...like you wouldn't ?!?)

Give her credit when credit is due...lets just hope she doesn't do any live shows soon. Give it a listen and I'm sure you'll find yourself on the dance floor the next time you hear a remix at the club.
